Minerals & Energy
Wyoming's minerals and energy industries are a critical part of the state's economy, providing employment and supporting vibrant communities throughout the state. This curriculum gives students a comprehensive understanding of our abundance of energy resources—including coal, oil, natural gas, wind, solar, and uranium, and invites them to actively engage and uncover the significance of these resources.
Students will learn about responsible stewardship of these resources through its Minerals and Energy unit, and learn critical thinking skills they need to become informed, responsible stewards of an important industry we rely on every day.
